For agents

Let your own assistant build the video

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client. It reads the guide, writes the script, narrates it, times the captions, finds the real outlines and saves the scenes. You review and export.

Set up

Connected in three steps

1. Copy the server address

Sign in, open Settings and Agent access, and copy the Mapflyover server address.

2. Add it to your app

In Claude (Connectors, Add custom connector), ChatGPT or any MCP app, paste the address. You sign in to Mapflyover and tap Allow, with no token to copy. Tools like Claude Code and Cursor can use a personal access token instead.

3. Ask for a video

Try: "Make a 60 second video about the Kenyan coast." The agent follows the built-in guide and hands you a preview link.

Documented properly

Every option, explained

The server hands the agent a complete reference for each scene field, its range and its default, plus recipes for common shapes of video. Sizes for the place chip, stat cards and captions are given separately for vertical and landscape so overlays stay small and readable.

  • ›Camera: pitch, bearing, orbit, speed, flight time
  • ›Boundaries: place kind, country code, radius, custom shape
  • ›Stat cards and facts, with timing
  • ›Caption styles and project settings

Checked before it is saved

Scenes are validated against a schema and a set of checks: gaps, overlaps, missing outlines, scenes that run past the narration. Problems come back in plain language so the agent can fix them and save again. Nothing half-valid reaches your project.

FAQ

About agent access

Does Mapflyover include its own AI?

No. It does not generate scenes for you. It gives your agent the tools and the documentation to do it, so you choose the model and keep the cost under your control.

Which assistants work?

Any client that supports MCP over streamable HTTP: apps with a sign-in screen (Claude and ChatGPT connectors) connect with OAuth, and tools where you set a header (Claude Code, Cursor) can use a personal access token.

Is it safe to give an agent access?

Access only reaches your own projects. Tokens are stored hashed, sign-in access expires after an hour and is renewed automatically, you can disconnect any app or revoke any token in Settings at any time, and requests are rate limited. The agent cannot export or spend plan credits; you review and export yourself.

Can I still edit what the agent made?

Yes. Open the preview link and everything is a normal editable project.
